19/03/2018Round The LakesWe are pleased to confirm that refunds have now been paid. 😀 There are a few people who we’ve e mailed separately because their cards have expired so those refunds will be made by cheques. If you have had an e mail saying you have been refunded but you know your card has expired, please check your bank account as some banks do accept payments under these circumstances. There are also 4 people who need to be refunded once we open the 2019 event which we hope to do after I’ve had a very large G+T! If you have a query please pm the page and I’ll look into it for you. A huge THANK YOU to you all for being so patient with us. It’s been difficult as we were learning and we had record numbers of entrants. We’ll let you know when we’re live for 2019 and hope to see you next year. In the meantime, happy running, stay fit, stay well and enjoy getting out in the sunshine. RTL Committee. 16/03/2018Round The LakesWe have processed requests to defer entries to the 2019 events and are currently working with Entry Central to process requests to refund 2018 entries. We expect this to be completed by early next week.

26/02/2018Round The LakesWe are keeping a very close eye on the weather which isn't looking good and will be meeting Wednesday evening to make a decision on running the Round The Lakes race or not. A update will be posted here soon afterwards. 26/02/20185K race seriesExciting news!Our 5k series will now be part of the Mid Wales Summer 5k Championships with Maldwyn Harriers in Newtown!All individuals will be automatically entered but will need to have done at least 3/5 races and must include at least 1 race in Newtown. The dates of these races are as follows: 30th March - Chocoholics 5k in Newtown 9th May - Elan Valley 5k in Rhayader 23rd May - Elan Valley 5k in Rhayader 6th June - Elan Valley 5k in Rhayader 6th July - BBQ 5k in Newtown The presentation will take place on the 6th July after the race and medals will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. 18/07/2015Ironman Mary MortonWell done to Mary Morton on completing her Ironman Triathlon in a fabulous time of 13hrs 40minutes, an excellent achievement completing the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and a full marathon in under 14 hours. You have done the club proud.
