Club runs

We get together three times a week to undertake running sessions suitable for all abilities regardless of age and fitness.

Tuesday Mornings  We meet at the Lake in Llandrindod at 06.15 for an informal session.

Tuesday Evenings
During the winter months our Tuesday runs are road runs around Llandrindod lasting approximately an hour. As the evenings get lighter we like to venture a little further afield, taking our club runs off road and exploring routes in the local area. Details of our Tuesday runs and meeting points are sent out weekly to all Club members or can be found on our Facebook page.
Wednesday Evenings

In January 2024 we have started Wednesday evening Couch to 5k runs at 6pm starting from Rhayader Leisure Centre. Everyone welcome, just turn up!

⚽️ Kick off your new year with a run!
🏃‍♀️ To Begin we will follow the Couch to 5k programme to enable everyone to access this session. Stronger runners can jog the walk breaks and encourage others.

Thursday Evenings
Our Thursday runs, based in Llandrindod, are a shorter session focusing on hill reps and speed work. Don't be put off by the words 'hills' and 'speed', all sessions are taken at your own level with the aim of building your ability week by week and not comparing it to anyone else's.
Sunday Mornings
On Sundays we take a more leisurely approach to our run, exploring routes throughout Radnorshire with routes varying week by week and suitable for all abilities. We have a range of abilities that run with us as a Club and we regularly regroup on our club runs to make sure no-one gets left behind. We take an approach that sees our faster runners double back on themselves to pick up and encourage our slower runners, ensuring everyone gets to a regroup point at a similar time and that no-one is running alone. Details of our Sunday runs and meeting points are sent out weekly to all Club members or can be found on our Facebook page.
If you're thinking of joining us and would like to come on a club run with us first, please get in touch or just turn up!
